LTMS families, we will remain open late to provide registration assistance on Monday August 12th and Tuesday August 13th. We will be available from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on these days. We will also provide assistance with registration to Spanish speaking families.

Attention all parents of incoming 7th graders (present 6th graders), attached is an important message from Nurse Bazan at LTMS regarding needed vaccinations.
LTMS Theater Arts department will be performing the play "Welcome to the Haunted House." The performances will be on May 15th. There will be a presentation during the school day for students to see the play and then there will be a performance for the community that evening. The community performance will be May 15th @6:00pm in the Leon Taylor Middle School Cafeteria. Please come support our students. Thank You.

Attention all incoming 7th graders for the 2024-2025 school year, Please read the following attachment from the LTMS Nursing Department regarding required immunizations.
Parents & Students, LTMS will be administering the first STAAR test tomorrow April 10th. Students will be taking the ELA (Reading) test. Please make sure your child gets a good nights rest in order to be at their best tomorrow. Also we ask that all students follow these rules for testing:
No pajamas, blankets, pillows, or stuffed animals.
Students may bring a snack that is no bigger than a quart sized bag. Please do not bring snacks that leave residues (takis, cheetos, doritos) as tests are administered on computers.
Also no glass bottles will be allowed in the testing rooms.
Students do not need to bring backpacks tomorrow.
Students needing to make up hours will have an opportunity for "Double Hours" again at Saturday School April 6th from 8:00am to Noon. Please take advantage of every opportunity to make up your hours now and not during summer school.
LTMS will have "Saturday School" for attendance make-up hours on March 23, 2024. The time will be from 8am to Noon. If students attend all 4 hours they will receive double that time off of their total.
