All,
As the first day of school is approaching we wanted to reach out and let you know how some things are going to be. As everyone knows by now, we are moving into our new building the week after labor day. This was confirmed and locked in. However, that means we start the year as we did last year and some procedures need to be made clear. For all students the will report to their home campus at the start of the day on Tuesday the 15th. 8th graders at the High School, 6th and 7th graders at the Blaschke Sheldon. Bus drop off will be at last years locations. 8th grade drop off and before school holding is in the gym at the high school. Please drop your students off there and they will go through the metal detectors there if your student is in 8th grade. 6th and 7th grade drop off is at the front of the Sheldon, and they will come in those doors. All student first periods will be posted in their morning areas. When they report to their first period, we will provide them their schedules.
We are excited to get everyone back into the building and begin what will be a fantastic and exciting school year. If there are questions, please reach out and we will assist in any way we can.
All,
If your 7th or 8th grade Lady Mustang athlete is going to be trying out for the volleyball teams, please take a moment to read the following letter from the Head Coach.
As everyone is doing online registration, or you're coming up to the school for new student registration, please make sure that you have a current August water bill as proof of residency, parent ID's available and uploaded if registering online. If your student is going to be riding the bus this school year, we will be printing their student ID's and bus badges next week so it can be as seamless as possible for the first day of school. Call 3617763050 to schedule a time to bring your student in!
NJHS 2022-2023 Induction Ceremony
Our 8th grade classes had a full grade kick-ball tournament. Our kids competed, our teachers competed as coaches(!) and everyone had a heck of a good time! Coach Sheffields class came out the winners.

Attention all LTMS families and students. Attached is a letter from Dr. Reininger regarding the upcoming STAAR testing procedures. There are some changes in how things will be done, as well as the outlined expectations for our middle school students who have not tested with us before. We are encouraged by everything we have seen this year, and are looking forward for our students to have the opportunity to show why they are the best in the state again!
